Autistic Music Teachers - A Review of the Literature
This poster was presented as complete draft of the upcoming paper at the 2025 NAfME All-Eastern Conference in Hartford, CT along other music education researchers. This work focused on suggesting actionable recommendations for supporting Autistic music teachers and filling a gap in the literature of music teacher education.
Dissonance in Silence - Fixing Systems Meant to Protect Future Autistic Music Educators
Co-created/presented alongside Berklee MIND Program Neurodiversity Manager Tara Allen, this workshop was presented at the 2025 Berklee ABLE Assembly, focusing on how to create better environments and support for pre-service Autistic music teachers.
